Oracle hosted The Qwik Group for an evening at the Golden Gate Yacht Club. Set at the end of Yacht Road between Crissy Field and the Marina Green, the club sits right on the water, with the Bay and the Golden Gate framed just beyond the windows.

A highlight of the evening was the chance to meet and hear from Yuki Tsunoda, the Japanese Formula One driver who serves as a reserve driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls. Born in 2000 and raised in Tokyo, he started kart racing at nine, came up through the Honda and Red Bull junior programs, and made his Formula One debut in 2021. Hearing him describe competing at that level, and how the instincts behind it carry over into building anything, made for a memorable part of the night.

The club itself holds a notable place in American sailing. Larry Ellison backed it and won the America's Cup for it in 2010, 2013, and 2017, and that partnership made it the official home port of Oracle Team USA.

The evening was spent dining surrounded by that history, with the America's Cup displays and Larry Ellison memorabilia that line the club.
